I usually have a sketch pad in front of me and a barrel of homebrew fermenting behind me, so working with Ever Grain Brewing Co. to design their labels was a no-brainer. Their unique brewery needed memorable, outstanding, meaningful labels with a good infusion of fun. So I crafted a batch of refreshing label layouts with tasty, full-bodied illustrations.

Drink Different

My very first conversation with the owner of Ever Grain resulted in a short but direct brief: every label should look different. I had to insist we at least put their logo on the can, but the design system is so flexible that 150 labels designs later I think we succeeded on that goal while defining the Ever Grain look and feel.
